We Kansas Citians always have this problem. When Kansas and Missouri are split geographically, is KC considered Kansas or Missouri? I know that seems stupid if you're not familiar with the area. I live in KC, KS. I am less than 1/4 a mile from State Line Road. I do almost all my shopping and working in KC, MO. I have friends and relatives further south in Johnson County, KS, so I am out there quite a bit. I go to graduate school in Lawrence, KS. So for these reasons I don't know which tribe to join. Where do all the KC Metro mommies hang out here?

Thanks,
That's a good question.

You know, people not from around here are always baffled when I tell them that I grew up in Kansas, but went to high school and worked in Missouri.

I haven't even ventured to the MO tribe...I guess b/c I just moved back and plan on living in Lawrence once things get settled.

Off to MO land...

I've seen more KC'ers in the KS tribe, but I haven't checked the MO one lately. If you see something there that we might be interested in, could you post a link over here somewhere?

Yep, I am pretty split too. I usually check out both Kansas and Missouri. But, we ( KC AP families) have our own not so little forum. So, I mostly hang out there
You should check it out.

I haven't checked the MO tribe, either. I'm in southern Johnson County, but I do work half my time in MO. It's too bad whoever made these state groupings didn't put KS and MO together. I don't feel very connected to CO (no offense to anyone there, but it's like 8 hours away from me!).

I'd like info on the KC AP forum, too.

Karen - finally settling in here, now that we've been here 2 months!!

Google KC attachment parenting forums. It'll get you right to KCAP.
