And never really has. I figure if he gets cold, he'll wake up {shrug} I do make sure he has on long pants and socks, and that does help. But it seems to me he's just expressing how he likes to sleep. If I keep covers on him, he tosses more and doesn't seem to sleep as well. Without the covers, just the oppisite.

I figure this is just how he is, so I don't stress over it

DD is exactly the same- she has NEVER tolerated covers, so we always put her to bed in a long sleeved/legged onsie with feet. As winter comes, it will have to be heavier. But I won't even attempt a blanket.

If she is in her own room you could get a portable heater in there. That's what we did with dd because we turn the heat off at night & sleep with the window open.
I did have a sleeping bag for her at one point until she grew out of it. It was just like a regular sleeping bag with a zipper down the front. I think I heard somewhere that it wasn't safe, so I got rid of it, cause I can't find it now
. I'd really like to get one for ds - his co-sleeper is right under the window. Anyone know where you can get something like that (ours was a hand-me-down) or why it wouldn't be safe?

I just did a google search & came up with a bunch. Here's one in the US:

We always just dressed my niece in a footed sleeper. They make them up through toddler sizes. Of course, she eventually got to the point where she'd take it off, so we took that as a clue that she was too warm and just let her be in her dipe/pull up.

I just got a thing called a sleep sack or something as a gift for my new dd. It is sort of a sleeper, but has no sleeves and zips and has a large bag area on the bottom. It's supposed to be instead of a blanket. Actually, if you cloth diaper, it's handy because no worries about fitting close-fitted pj's over a nighttime bubble but. Just long sleeved shirt and this or light pants underneath.

I think my friend got it for us at www.babycenter.com. You can probably check out the product anyway. Good luck! I can relate...dd#1 hated blankets and FREAKED when we tried to put footed pj's on her. She will sleep with socks though, but the pants and shirt have to be loose. She hates those skin tight pj's. We just use light cotton pants/leggings I get at consignment/thrift/old navy sales and t-shirts.

Best!
