I am living with my parents right now in their attic, and my Dad sometimes smokes downstairs. Any tips on how to keep the smell out of my section of the house? Thanks

Can you ask him nicely to smoke outside, preferably opposite the attic? Isn't there a machine that removes smoke from the air? I can't remember the name.
