<table border="0" cellpadding="6" cellspacing="0" width="99%"><tr><td class="alt2" style="border:1px inset;">The case for going to war against Iraq was a fraud "made up in Texas" to give Republicans a political boost, Sen. Edward Kennedy said today.<br><br>
In an interview with The Associated Press, Kennedy also said the Bush administration has failed to account for nearly half of the $4 billion the war is costing each month. He said he believes much of the unaccounted-for money is being used to bribe foreign leaders to send in troops.<br><br>
He called the Bush administration's current Iraq policy "adrift."</td>

"We have known for many years that Saddam Hussein is seeking and developing weapons of mass destruction." Sen. Ted Kennedy (D, MA), Sept. 27, 2002<br><br>
Seems the Kennedy'd ought to make up their minds.

Saying that and actually attacking and occupying a sovereign country while killing thousands of civilians and troops is VERY different.

Hypocrisy? One can believe that Saddam is <i>dangerous and had many WMD</i> , yet realize that starting an unjust war is the wrong way to handle it.<br>
(Oh yes...he was sooo dangerous and had so many weapons...we've seen PROOF of that during this war! :LOL)<br><br>
Violence, death and destruction are not the only solution to problems, no matter what the Shrub said to convince of all his followers to support this attack and occupation- and admitting that Saddam is evil does not preclude one from not supporting war, which, as Kennedy rightly said is a FRAUD.
