today I went to my first "burn the bush" party.....
It was a fundraiser party and everyone brought a white elephant gift/item and there was an auction on each item.
I brought an unopened dvd which sold for $20.00
and I brought my tarot cards (which I had semiretired) and read cards for two people they auctioned it up and it went to 120..
All the money went to Kerry and in 4 hours they earned $4,000.
it was so much fun and everyone felt good buying other people's stuff and seeing the cash go to kerry.
