...by drinking water.

I never knew before that I was "one of those people" who is picky about how her water tastes. I didn't realize it until I started buying spring water to keep in the fridge for DH. I have always had a really hard time drinking enough water, either because I'd forget or it simply didn't appeal to me. Now we keep bottles of spring water on the top shelf of the fridge - it's the best! I actually drink the recommended 8oz 8x a day now (possibly more). Also, instead of eating something from the fridge when I open it due to pure boredom, I just get water instead.

I'm feeling much better now. I can't believe getting rid of my two worst nutrition habits was as simple as drinking more water. : : :

That's great! I bet you'll notice other benefits, like less exhaustion and headaches. A lot of everyday "symptoms" are brought on by dehydration. I fill a pitcher in the morning with eight cups of water and one cup of cranberry juice (for flavor) and make sure I drink at least that much during the day. It cured me of repeat UTIs! (I'm still an endless snacker though ... must work on that!)

I was like you -- hated drinking water, until a few years ago when I just started forcing myself. Now it tastes good to me, and when I have the occasional soda or iced tea or juice instead, those taste even better, too. It's amazing, isn't it, how so often when you think you are hungry you're really just thirsty?

Congratulations!
