i just have to brag for a moment. dh moved in with my 2 years ago when we got engaged. i don't allow a lot of the foods he used to eat in my house or around the children, so he has been forced to change his eating habits. he grew up eating lots of fatty/ processed foods, and those are reserved for very special treats in this household. we got rid of a car to save $$, so he has been walking, taking the bus or BIKING *gasp*. dh was a , er, heavy guy- he always has been. hes still husky, i think that's just the way hes made. he had very high bp when we got engaged, and was not terribly healthy. well, he went to the dr yesterday, and he has lost 30 lbs! and bp is normal! i am so happy for him. it has almost inspired me to start working on the last 10 lbs of preg weight i need to lose. ALMOST. lol.
