I am one of the organizers of our winter fayre at school. The person that played King Winter last year and was going to do it this year has cancelled at the last minute.
This means that my lucky husband has had to step in and play the role. The problem is that I have no idea what he is to do. We have the costume and will set up a grotto for him and he'll have little gifts for the children but what happens once they are in there?? My husband is seriously detail oriented and is asking me for every minor detail!

So, what does King Winter do at your schools??

The Fayre is this weekend so any quick help would be appreciated please!

I imagine he won't have to do much because it will be pretty busy.

Well, he's to be sitting in his grotto which the children go into in groups. So, he needs to say or do something before giving them a wee gift.

It looks like we are going to have to wing it at this point.
