I just started using kissaluvs contours - I do a cold water soak and then a hot wash. I noticed that a couple of the poopy diapers were left with a little staining in the crease down the center of the absorbant part... any idea how to avoid this??? (this is just bf poop so we're not pre-rinsing or washing the dipes)

maybe instead of the soak you could just do one full cold cycle to rinse everything out/off the diapers. then your hot wash with an extra rinse.
what are you washing with?
also, to get rid of any stains, stick them in the sun while still damp after washing. the sun is AMAZING at getting stains out.

When we were in the super nb poo phase I used Kissaluvs too. I did a prewash/rinse with cold water and baking soda to rinse out all the poo. Then I did the regular hot wash with detergent and a rinse with vinegar.
Now that we are onto solids, I just do a presoak in cold. But I found that I needed the extra rinse with all that nb poo. I also didn't like the dipes 'washing' with all that stuff in the water. HTHs

I used and loved those kissaluv contours when my girly was a newborn. I stuck those suckers out in the sun and it got most of the staining out and then when I wanted to sell them I oxycleaned them and they looked brand new again.
