I have only used mine to grind meat. I have never used it for grains. I am not sure how it would work since it has a blade in it that basically slices up the meat then pushes it through the grinder.<br><br>
Kitchenaid may have one specifically for grains.
I bought one when I bot my kitchenaid last Thanksgiving. By July I had a Nurtimill.<br><br>
The kitchenaid attachment doesn't grind the grain fine enough. Even when I ran it through twice on the finest setting it wasn't as fine as flour you would purchase is. The Nutrimill or the other grain mills give you a much finer grind.
