Laura scored this amazing pink cashmere cover for me at Maria's last KP stocking. It is beautiful, soft, perfect in every way, and doesn't put pressure on Rosie's tummy.

It is barely a week old, and has only been worn a couple of times.

Sadly, one of those times dh fed Rosie baby food in a jar -- in the car -- and a big glop of Earth's Best Plums, Bananas and Rice is now on the cover!!! Right in the front, about the size of a child's fist!!!!

Well, I soaked it in cold water and Eucalan the second I saw it - then took it out and laid it carefully on some CPFs to dry. By morning, it was still damp, and the spot was still visible.

I just sprayed the spot with Shout but now I fear that was a mistake.

What do you suggest? Is there any hope?

Maybe the sun will take the stain out It might take a few times. I hope it comes out!

Maria of KP suggested baby shampoo with a toothbrush and rinsing and repeating.

Has anyone tried this? Any more tips or advice? It's a fruit stain, basically. I have never succeeded in removing banana stains. In fact, if I care about my daughters' outfits at all I require them to change clothes before eating bananas.

Please help.

I have had pretty good luck using Bac-Out on all food stains lately. I haven't tried it on wool, but I bet you'd have to lanolize the cover after using it. In the past I have used a toothbrush with Eucalan and was pleased. The stain (poop) did not come out completely but it did fade. Good luck! I got the same cover last week
