I plan on making a pair of the longies for my new son (6 weeks), but think my daughter (22 months) has a greater need for this poncho . The pattern looks really easy and I already have the yarn in my stash. I would be happy to help newbies along.

She is loath the put on a sweater, but likes to drape herself with blankets. I plan on using a chunky raspberry tweed that is left over from a sweater I just finished this week. (I will be posting photos of the finished sweater on my blog this weekend).

Right now I am working on this dress for a knit-along with Leigh.

Is there a pattern you'd like to tackle but need a little help with, post it here and maybe we can find someone to knit along with you.

The poncho looks great! My mom made one similar for dd (3 y.o.) last year, and it was really easy to just slide it over her head.

I'm looking for a pattern for vegetable / fruit hats for dd and an infant one for the new baby in April. Anyone knows of a good and easy pattern? I'll probably need help after I get the pattern.
