Can anyone recommend a good knitted overall pattern? Or, has anyone ever just made one up? I was thinking of just improvising from a longies pattern.

I have debated about getting that one, but I want something even simpler. I probably will end up getting that one in the end! Thanks.

ive thought of doing a super extended (maybe split up the side under-arm or something) ribbed waist, then the picky pants bottom and just adding straps and buttons.. i think it would work fine!

I've done this for sleep sacks, so not with the picky pants bottom, but just switching to stockinette and going round and round (forever!) to make a "skirt"
