Hi all,

I just finished making soakers for my baby girl (5.5 months old).
It;s my first knitting project and it came out pretty well I think :)

I used 100% Acrylic yarn with 5.5 mm needles.
I'm worried it'll be too hot for her.

What do you think is the best yarn to use in the summer for soakers ?

Thank you,
Avital

100% wool, most definitely! Depending on your pattern, you might be able to use a finer yarn to make a lighter-weight soaker if you prefer.
Hikers swear by wool socks, especially in the summer, because it keeps their feet cool & dry - it's the same for wool soakers.
