what are the charity organizations that you can knit stuff for (i'm really not saying that correctly

) i really want to knit some stuff - but honestly noone i know really appreciates it so i'd like to knit things that will be appreciated. is it all baby stuff or are there groups that need other stuff? i have a fairly decent stash of yarn i can use for smaller projects i guess

A few of us started knitting blocks for blankets for the holiday helpers thread, too. We're using specific yarn & colors for the two we're working on right now, though.

But, if you would like to knit for something else, I would recommend the book Knitting for Peace. I first read it by taking it out of the library, but since Amazon has it for sale for only $3.99 right now.
