I've scoured a lot of knitting sites for this problem and haven't found any help. Perhaps one of you experienced knitters will know this problem?

I'm working on a soaker pattern that is knit in the round. It has the option of adding short rows to the back (4 of them). I followed the directions on doing the short rows with wrap, but once the short rows are completed I haven't figured out how to work the stitches that are wrapped on the WS. I knit the wrap and the stitch together on the ones that are on the RS easily, but can't figure out how to do the other ones. Do I need to turn once I get to those stitches my next time around and pearl the wrap and the stitch from behind?

TIA

My problem is that the short rows decrease in length each time, so you never make it back to the wrapped stitches on the pearl side until you are coming at it in the round on the knit side. "Michelle's explanation" makes the most sense on how to try to hide them so far. So glad to hear I'm not alone in this problem and others have sucessfully solved it!

i've used this method to hide that second wrap and i think it looks great. i try to wrap the yarn pretty loosely so that there is something to "grab onto" when i come back around.

hiding wrap

i am on my 3rd pair of wondershorts. the wraps on the first pair are awful, but the 2nd ones look pretty good. i am about to start short rows on the 3rd pair. i think practice helps.
