I'm making this super cute little dress

I have just finished the main bodice and am totally stuck. I really think there is a mistake in the pattern (of course it can't be me!!!).
I am hoping someone out there can help me!!

The trouble starts on the shoulders.
What I don't get, is how you could BO on the right front shoulder and then place the stitches on the right back shoulder on a holder. It just doesn't seem right to me. What do you think?

Left Front Shoulder (all sizes)
Next row (RS): K until 4 sts remain on left needle, work 4 sts in seed st.
Next row: Work 4 sts in seed st, p to neck.
Place all sts on holder.

Right Front Shoulder (all sizes)
Next row (RS): Work 4 sts in seed st, yo, k2tog. [this yo is the buttonhole so make it pretty loose]
Next row: Work entire row in seed st
Next row: Work entire row in seed st
BO in patt.

Left Back Shoulder (all sizes)
Next row (RS): Work 4 sts in seed st, k rem sts.
BO in patt.

Right Back Shoulder (all sizes)
Next row (RS): Work 4 sts in seed st, k rem sts.
Next row: P until 4 sts remain on left needle, work 4 sts in seed st.
Next row: Work 4 sts in seed st, k rem sts.
Next row: P until 4 sts remain on left needle, work 4 sts in seed st.
Place all sts on holder.

And then, what does this mean?

FINISHING
With RS facing each other, bind the shoulders off together using a 3 needle BO and largest straight needles.

If it is too hard to explain over email, i can head to my local yarn shop.
Thanks to anyone who can help!

I do think there is a mistake. SInce it tells you the button goes on the left shoulder, I think the right front and back will be the ones you use the stitch holders for and later finish off with the 3 needle bind off.

I'd email Kate via the link at the bottom of the pattern just to make sure though.

There is definitely a mistake in Anouk--I ran into the same problem, where the stitches were held on opposite shoulders. I ended up reversing the shaping on one of the shoulders (I forget which one now) so that the live stitches ended up on the same side so I could do the three-needle bind off.

Here's a link to a video for the three-needle bind off--you need to scroll down to get to it, but it's there:

http://www.knittinghelp.com/knitting...s/bind-off.php

Hope this helps!
