I'm hoping more people will see this here then in FYT. My dh was offered a job near Charleston SC and it sounds like a good thing, but neither of us know anything about the area. Where we are the public schools are pretty good with plenty of charter and magnet schools to pick from if the local school doesn't work well. Here is an OK area as far as AP and GD. So what's life like there? I'm looking for cost of living, schooling, the community and fun stuff to do for free with the kids. Thanks for any info!

I love Charleston. It is a great city and so much to do, see and learn. I don't know about living there but I want to. I wish my Dh would get a job offer there. Lucky
