BABS (Bloomington Area Birth Services) has great childbirth ed classes, prenatal yoga (& postpartum exercise), and connections to lots of area doulas and midwives. Seems like every once in awhile, someone there wants to start a Birthing From Within study/support group. If you're still looking, and are willing to travel down to Btown, check them out on the web and/or give them a call: http://www.bloomingtonbirth.com.

Good luck to you!

Bloomington sounds like such a cool place. It sounds a bit more progressive than Indy. We miss that about living in Colorado. We've been here since January and have found Indy to be pretty conservative.

I think I'm slowly connecting with a few people here who are more like-minded.

Oh yeah, Bloomington's WAY more hip than Indy!

This is why my husband commutes to Indy from here: we FIT here, and wouldn't/don't there. I don't know if he'll continue to believe it's worth the three hours he spends in his car every day ... but for now, I'm happy to be here.

Come visit, sometime!
