I really wanted to go but couldn't. The kiddos have impetigo, so I didn't want to expose anyone else's little ones. My mom was supposed to come watch the kiddos, but she didn't. So if anyone wants to share their notes/what they learned, I'd appreciate it. Thanks!

You might contact the leaders. They had a packet that had lots of info in it. I would have liked for it to have been longer but it was good.

I would've loved to know what all the speaker talked about, was he actually anti-vaccination or just delivering CDC facts? I hadn't heard of him - is he a holisitc practitioner, family practitioner, or pediatrician?

Anyone willing to pass along more information or Heather, can you post it here?

Rach only has one HiB shot and one dT that she got against my gut feelings and the twins have none. I will admit a little more "fear" of pertussis and HiB for the little bitty ones this Winter.

Denette, Tandy spoke at our church Sunday morning. I liked hearing someone from ORUU.

Tandy is great! I just love her, she is a wonderful person. I just recently found out that she was a midwive's assistant back in the day.

The Dr that spoke was a Chiro from a place in Knoxville and he was totally ANTI VAX. He has two kids and doesn't vax them at all. His lecture was short but bascially he had handouts about how the decline in diseases that we vax against happened before they started vaxing. He had some notes from the CDC that futhers the idea not to vax and some info on how to get along not vaxing your kids like a form and the proper number for the law.

Cash is hanging on my leg so I have to cut it short. He said he might do a confernce soon so that might be an option for those who missed it.

Hello All!!!!!!!!!!!

Yeah, we had to keep the lecture short because we wanted to have time for questions, which there were a lot! (from me too!).

If anyone wants the packet of info, I have an extra set that you can copy for youself. It's great, loads of info. I am so glad Dr. Sulack came with this info as some of it is hard to find, so now it's all in one place (and at his expense, thank goodness).

I hope you guys can come to future meetings, we are growing like crazy so this means there are MANY MANY of us out there, just don't know each other yet

. We have over 150 parents in our database now, so word is getting out.

Also, the Style show producer from Channel 10 contacted me and wants to come to the meetings and do a future show. Can you imagine how many people we will reach then? WOW!

Also, also....my pediatrician ASKED me for the Dr. Tenpenny video that I have (on vaccines) and for the packet of info that Dr. Sulack brought! She is pregnant with her third and wanted to hear the 'other side' that she is unaware of!! Can you imagine the fall out of her getting this info and being more open to sharing this with her practice partners (and patients)?

Dentte, which mom were you? I am always on the lookout for MDC moms, this place has been such an important part of my life for several years now I feel I 'know' the moms here and want to meet them in person.

Anna-what is ORUU? I am always on the lookout for future guest speakers and great topics, esp for the spring (we have things set until December). I hope the babies are great!!!
