Anyone else still experiencing this? I'm not really nauseous, just don't feel like eating. It's pretty annoying actually.
: I'll get up and start going about my day & the next thing I know it's noon & all I've had it two sips of a drinkable yogurt & a handful of grapes or something like that. Oh, and I'm a plus size woman, so it's not like it is a usual issue for me!

Oh, except fruit popsicles. I could pretty much eat those all day long no problem!

I am glad you posted, because I was going to, but was also thinking that no way does anyone else feel this way.

I am less nauseous than before, so I think I am on the good road, but I still have almost no appetite. I am one pound under my pre-pregnancy weight because of severe vomiting that has only let up in the last two weeks.

I don't have any tips for you -- do have any for me?
But, I do try to eat something as soon as I get up, even though that usually makes me feel kind of bad.

Have to make a giraffe out of legos for DS. Feel better soon!

oh me too! all my girlfriends have said "i bet you are eating so much and so hungry all the time" uh... no..... not at all. All my favorite meals are completely unappealing to me now. and i used to eat CHOCOLATE every day and could care less for it now.
:

i do have to say that "grazing" thoughout the day has helped me make it through the day without feeling too size. I live on yougert and dried nuts/fruit and supplement with smaller portion meals when it is time to eat breakfast, lunch, dinner. popcorn has been a lifesaver too, though it doesn't have a lot of calories.

thanks for posting this. I thought it was just me!

i had a co-worker say "you're so lucky you're pregnant, that means you get to eat whatever you want!" i laughed in hr face!!

my appetite has been changing lately... which i think is all right since before i couldn't stomach a lot of healthy things and ate a lot of comfort foods (i.e. junk), or would start eating something and then couldn't stop (do NOT do this with prunes... trust me)

anyway i've started using www.fitday.com to track what i eat. it has all sorts of weight-loss stuff on it which you can ignore. i find it helps me because you can check to see what nutrients you're getting through your diet, and it inspires me to think "i'm not getting enough vitamin k... what veggies can i find that in?" and i look it up and try to start eating more of those.

we also did up a meal plan so that we don't have to think about what's for dinner (if it was left up to me, it would be toast every night... that's how i spent the first trimester)

my midwife reccommends keeping almonds on hand for a snack - good source of protien and calcium. cherries are also a good source of calcium and lots of other vitamins. and they're in season now!

Glad to know it's not just me! Guess it's really true that misery loves company.

Great tips too. I have been trying to graze during the day too, but the hard part is I just don't *feel* like eating you know? It's weird to have to remind yourself to eat.

I'm feeling the same way. I go about my day and have my "normal menu" (eggs for breakfast w/ fruit, and chicken for lunch with pita bread and veggies) but not because I'm hungry - only because I'm pretty much on 'auto' as far as hunger goes. I know those things are healthy for me so I keep eating them over and over. Saves having to think of breakfast and lunch, and also keeps food in me. My husband works afternoon shift so I make dinner that he eats when he comes home from work at midnight, and lately I haven't been touching it. Or, if I do, it's very very small portions - just cause I'm not hungry.

This is very different from my last pregnancy, where I wanted nothing but carbs - and all the time.

I'm right there too. I spend a lot of time in front of the refridgerator trying to figure out what seems appealing. I've gained five lbs so far, MUCH less than last time at the point in pregnancy. My taste buds are way off too.... everything tastes way too sweet. I agree with a PP that if there is food in my stomach, my appetite seems a little better. Fruit (melons, berries, grapes) and fruit popsicles are tolerable when nothing else seems interesting. It's all been a little unnerving actually.
