Take a look at the site gals. Right now it is just the skeleton. I need help filling in the meat of the site. The focus of this site is not moms & moms to be, there are plenty of those. This site is to be a centralized location for the media to use as a resource.

I need:
more thoughts & stories
male opinions
an article on breastfeeding around the world
article about harassment
links to BF harassment
press releases
article on the impact of formula
more for ignorance in the media
a nice summary of "The View" hullabaloo & subsequent nurse in. Links to articles about barbara & the view.

Plus anything else you can think of.

Jen: I like to write, but I was wondering if this would fit on your website....
here's my idea:
I could write about how I've tandem nursed toddlers in public in places like Seattle and Hilo, Hawaii. These places are in AMERICA, yet people walking by either smiled or kept walking. No double takes, no dirty looks, no negative comments. One time, I was sitting in a ball pit nursing my kids while other kids played around us and the parents looked on. No one came rushing to take their kids out of the ball pit. No one told me to excuse myself to the bathroom. No one gave off the impression that I was being rude or inappropriate.
Yes, there are places in this country where people don't have issues with NIP.

hey jen, i know you said you had trouble getting this link to work the other day. hopefully it will work now.
the "advantages" of formula:
http://systems.cs.colorado.edu/~koli...f-formula.html

from the website:
"I once read a statement on a newsgroup along the lines of "I have searched for information on the benefits of formula feeding, but all the information out there is bigoted in favor of breastfeeding". In response, I decided to assemble a web site to list the reasons I've heard and read to suggest that formula feeding is superior to breastfeeding. I will also refute those arguments where I can."

Great! I will make the calendar up. I wonder if I can get it so events can be automatically posted??? Let me check.

I think that's a great idea. I know absolutely nothing about computer stuff, but I know some of our local sites have a calendar where members can go in and add info to the calendar. I think it needs to be approved before it is actually posted, but it would save some time if people could go in and add their events themselves.

I don't know if this mama is here, but I LOVED the picture.
