Things are really changing right before our very eyes.

Before I had my son at the age of 36, I had only ever seen 2 women breastfeed in my entire life. Once when I was about 9 or 10 I had a friend who's sister was nursing her son and then again when I was about 29 or so I knew a women who was breastfeeding her daughter.
This is the best week ever and I am so honored to be a nursng mother at this time. :bf
The momentum is so strong, we are goin all the way Baby. I wouldn't want to be a formula company right now. ( not that I ever would at any time)

I was standing in line at the grocery store tonight and was flipping through People and almost started jumping up and down when I saw pics of the NYC nurse it in the mag..HOW AWESOME!!! I so wish I had been there! I ran out to the car to tell DH about it!! He thought it was awesome too!! I so wish I lived closer to NYC..But if they make other comments I might have to make the drive!!!

I was pleased to see this too! I thought it was really funny that they had one guy saying that more women should be encouraged to expose themselves and breastfeed, then they showed a bunch of boobs from rock videos or something, scantily clad of course, and then the nursing moms. Guess which group was showing more skin!
