I was thinking of getting a lambskin for my daughter but I don't know where to start. I know there was a thread about this awhile ago and I couldn't find it. Where is the best place to find one? And if you have one do you like it?

Is your daughter a premie or have sleep issues? That's what the skins are recc'd for.

Otherwise, a nice soft blankie should do.

We have one & love it! Our daughter sleeps on one in between us in bed, and it keeps her warmer in winter, somewhat cooler in summer - lambskins are warm, but not SWEATY warm, & wool is supposed to regulate temps somewhat. & it's sooooo soft & cozy. & I can bring it into the living room with me & she can nap on the hardwood floor lying on it!

We got ours from our local farmers market & it's just glorious, so soft & beautiful (plus, we know the lamb had a great life on this particular farm - and we liked knowing that)! You'd probably find them cheaper elsewhere, ours was $129 (but it's WASHABLE, which is fantastic) - but if you're interested in looking into their farm it's http://www.dairysheepfarm.com - I think they may sell online.
