I would pour boiling water down the drain to melt it..maybe add a lil bit of dish soap. I have to wonder, HOW MUCH laonlin could you have put down your sink?? :LOL I make soap with laonlin and I have yet to clog a sink with it! LOL Other things that help are eggshells through a disposal, coffee grounds, or you can pick up LYE from a local hardware store and pour some of that down.. but be careful, it can burn and eat the skin. Wear gloves and keep children out of the room.

:LOL Pitiful, huh? We live in very old government housing and all the drains are nasty anyway. It doesn't take much to clog them. I have to have maintenance come out every few months and unclog all my drains. They've never been able to get this one bathroom sink running properly and using lanolin in it has just made it worse. Now I'm afraid to call them because I'm afraid they'll hold me responsible for using lanolin in the sink. I just got a plastic tub to wash and lanolize all my wool so I don't have to use the sink anymore.
