Lanolized Wool that leaks???

385 Views 2 Replies 2 Participants Last post by  Spark
I got a wool cover off the TP. I've used other covers of this kind and they're all fine. This one... leaks. I've lanolized it over and over again thinking maybe that will fix it to no avail.

Other info: This cover is two layers of wool flannel. (The others kinds like it I've used have wool jersey closest to baby)

Any ideas what I can do??? If I lanolize this one more time I might as well just squeeze the lanolin all over it, wad it up in a ball and microwave it! Maybe then it would hold wetness in!!!

Depending on the content (100% wool?) and knit pattern and such of the wool, some of them just don't work as well as others.
I think your best bet is to use a high functioning diaper and stick to daytime.

Bummer!

Thanks for your reply. Yes, it is 100% wool. And, it's not a knit, but a wrap. It is sad. I got it just for night time. The color is awesome though. Perhaps I will just hold onto it for day. Hmm, I was hoping there was something I could do to make it work for us at night.

Any one else with an idea?
