My first time to lanolinize longies and I messed up! <img alt="" class="inlineimg" src="http://www.mothering.com/discussions/images/smilies/crap.gif" style="border:0px solid;" title="crap"><br><br>
I melted the Lansinoh and a tad of baby wash in about a quart of water. Left it to set and cool. Durring this time dd got a tad fussy so I didn't get to it as soon as it cooled. Without thinking I just poored it over the longies and now I have blobs of Lansinoh smeared on the longies. <img alt="" class="inlineimg" src="http://www.mothering.com/discussions/images/smilies/duh.gif" style="border:0px solid;" title="duh"><br><br>
What to do??? <img alt="" class="inlineimg" src="http://www.mothering.com/discussions/images/smilies/confused.gif" style="border:0px solid;" title="Confused">:

I usually put the Lansinoh in about a cup of microwaved water with a squirt of baby soap, and then throw that in with a few quarts of warm water and then stir and put my wool in there to soak.<br><br>
I would just fill a pot with very warm water and let them sit in there for a while. You could always strip them with some dish detergent in warm water if you get desperate. But don't forget to re-lanolize once again! BTW, warm water should not shrink/felt your wool unless you agitate them a bunch, or go from hot/cold/hot.
