I saw that too, and was going to post it...will be interesting to see how this plays out. But, you can write your own exemption for the flu vaccination. Wonder why that is...could it be, too many injuries being compensated for it?

I did not know that! I do know that OSHA has an exemption form, or refusal or declination form for the Hep B.

Let me add that when my children were in school, I had to have a TB clearance on file. The TB test was good for three years, yet the assistant principal would toss the files at the end of every year - SO I had to go and get another test so the school would have it on file as the law required so I could help in my children's classrooms each year. Too much. So my point is that if a parent does file their vaxes with the school, keep a second copy. The office help and principals are not to be trusted with your records.

A bit OT, but SB350 was just defeated - it would have cut gas consumption in half; most car lanes would have changed over to bike lanes. The Gov had a fit. http://beniciaindependent.com/sb-350-bold-bill-to-cut-california-emissions-sets-off-fierce-battle/

Years ago, about 1988-1991, Gov Jerry Brown had a radio talk show, somewhere in San Diego, I think. On one occasion, he said in words to the effect that,

"Most people think that the governor knows what he is doing. There were plenty of times I had a decision to make and I did not know what I would do. I rarely knew the outcome of a bill I would sign."

Yes, this man ran CA for nearly 16 years.
