Hi, I'm a mama to a nearly 10 month sweetie with no teeth yet. I know this is fine and normal and we may not see teeth for another few months, but it's got me wondering how long we need to go to win the world record

If you had a late teether, how old was your babe when he/she got her first tooth?

Did the teeth come in quick after that first one, or did they all come in slow?

Loving that I'm not getting nipple-bites yet, and hoping she'll be old enough to understand "no biting mama" by the time she gets a pearly white!

DD got her first tooth a week before her first birthday. Within two weeks, she had her four front teeth all coming in at once. About three months later she got two more upper teeth. And now, at almost 20 months, she has SIX teeth coming in at once

DD is a toothless 9mo. DH didn't get teeth until he was 12+mo. DD has started biting down with her gums when she's particularly tired or bored while nursing, so maybe we'll see some teeth soon? It would certainly make feeding her solids a little easier!!

My ds1 got his first teeth sometime during his 10th month. I had no complaints about late teething. He didn't chew on toys and put teeth marks in them, I didn't get bitten more than once or twice, and he barely even seemed to notice teeth coming in (no obvious teething pain). Hooray for late teethers! (DS2 got his first 2 teeth at 6 mos)

Dd didn't get teeth till she was almost 1yo. They came in kind of slow after that. Ds is 10mo and his 1st tooth is just starting to cut through.

My firstborn was an early teether, and my second is cutting teeth now at 5mos, but a good friend had a very late teether. Her LO was 19 months when she got her first tooth. Actually, she got six in just a couple of weeks. The docs kept telling them that everything was fine and not to worry, then once she hit 18 months they scheduled an appointment with a specialist (a pede dentist) and she got her teeth right before that appointment.
