I'm really irritated about all of this...the SOGC is using UC'ers as a scape goat and simply spouting lies to the media. I wish the general public wasn't so naive.

Does anyone really think these doctors give a hoot about women who choose to UC. They are afraid of women gaining knowledge and them losing big bucks.

Arrrghhh ! I am definately against uc now ! It's a good thing that article was written.

Articles like this annoy me. Really, what are they going to do? Police a pregnant women until she gives birth? Maybe we will give all pregnant women an electronic ankle band and put them all under house arrest. Hospitalise all pregnant women in case- heaven forbid- the baby comes out without forceps?

The mention in the 2nd article . . . if a woman gives birth unassisted and the baby dies she should be charged with manslaughter? They are going to prove that how? These people are idiots.

no one ever wants to charge a doc or mother for child abuse from a purely elective c=section.
