I still lay with my 5 year old. She starts the night in her bed in her room, then moves to her 'little' bed (the toddler bed) in our room.

We don't 'need' to lay with our 4 year old, but we do choose to. We lay in her bed with her and read a few books -- she is gone by the end of the second one usually. She sleeps all night in her own room but is welcome in our bed at any time.

My four year old still likes to be snuggled, but can go to sleep on his own. If I have work to do, I'll ask him to go to sleep by himself after reading some books, and he's generally okay with that. Most nights I or dp snuggle him down.
My little guy will be 4 in July and I lay down with him for naps as he naps in our bed. At night I lay down with him but he sleeps in a side car. Tina

I used to not do so, but then she finally gave up her pacifier a few weeks ago : , and asks me to do so. She has much more difficulty falling asleep these days, I guess it's understandable.
