A gf of mine is having some issues with leaking even after her ds has weaned 3 months ago.<br><br>
Is this normal? So far, everything I have read says it is.<br><br>
She is wanting to try to conceive again and is wondering if since she is still making milk if this is hindering her chances. If so, what can she do to dry up her milk?

Well I weaned my DD about 4 months ago, and I recently got a clogged ducts and had to massage my breast to get the milk out and a bit did come out, I read some women make milk for up to a year after weaning, that might be on the extreme end. I keep getting the same duct problem, it hurts, but only mildly and is always before I get my AF, so I think my body is still a bit wacky from hormones. Anyway, I had it happen not that long ago.

My midwife has told me before that she still made milk 14 years later. <img alt="" class="inlineimg" src="http://www.mothering.com/discussions/images/smilies/redface.gif" style="border:0px solid;" title="Embarrassment">
