I appreciate that she wrote that, I can empathize with some of her statements.

I've reread this one a few times.
First, it must be so painful for her to watch all of her kids suffering. Hopefully they all get better, and it seems like they will, but this experience has clearly brought heartache.

The outcome, though, is a good one. I'm glad to see that she is willing to reevaluate her choices and take action to protect her kids in the future. A week or more of antibiotics for all the kids, plus a few more weeks of symptoms? Even with full recovery, there's no way this experience can be preferable to preventive vaccination.

Very sobering story and I hope all goes well for the family.

I'd be more sympathetic to the anti-vaxx community if I knew we had more sure treatments of such diseases. As it is, it's a worry when these vaccine-preventable diseases to occur!
