I of course cant find the thread now : anyone have any money saving tips for me?

Yeah, my ds (15mo) had fallen off the chair a few times now, and it's hard to keep an eye on his busy body, especially when his older sister "helps" me and I'm trying to get dinner made. I don't think a learning tower would fit in our tiny kitchen, but I'd love to hear if someone knows of a less expensive option.

It isn't much cheaper, but Guidecraft just came out with a similar product that folds up for storage. It's called the Kitchen Helper:

http://mystepstool.com/kitchen_helper.htm

Kids fall. My dd is crazy active also, but after a few falls (with me reminding her to be careful) she's now very calm on a chair. I also have a newborn and it's no problem.

Well I just dont agree, I think teaching a child to stand on a chair is a BAD idea, maybe thats just me but we would rather fork over the cash at full price for a learning tower, thats our family though.

Thanks for your opinion!

I'm a thrifty woman, but I bought ours at full price and haven't looked back for a second! This is, hands down, the best $ we've spent on kid stuff thus far (well, this and the ergo!)
