I'll just re-post what I already wrote....

Here we go again with the View!! They were talking about Desperate Housewives & showing a clip of the woman b/fing & Elisabeth was saying it's too much to have a 5 year old able to stand up and nurse & Joy was saying that pretty soon he'll start leaving tips for her. The guest host (Gina from the show "Martin") said that it's a myth that nursing helps lose weight & was asked how long she nursed & she said 4 months, then Elisabeth was saying how she stopped nursing at 6 months b/c her schedule didn't have time for it & her baby was already doing both bottle & breast so it wasn't a big deal and that her breasts were 30 lbs so it didn't help her lose weight either.

What irritates me is that some people watching this think these people actually know what they're talking about. When will America wake up & realize BREAST IS BEST for babies...there should be no room for debate about schedules not working, etc... b/c it should be the norm!!!

Grrrr.....
