I have had constant, constant problems with clogged ducts. I checked out a few recent archive posts and saw that several folks mention taking lecithin to help prevent them - how much do you take? Anything else? I am not sure if this matters but I am exclusively pumping right now. Thank you.

Hi,

I too had recurring plugged ducts and recurring mastitis. So miserable! Since I started taking lecithin (6 weeks ago?) I haven't had one problem (knock on wood!!). I bought lecithin capsules from a local baby product store (their own brand) but they are 1200 mg capsules and the bottle says to take 1-2 with meals. I usually take one w/breakfast and 1 w/dinner and it seems to have been enough. Hope it helps you!

good luck! I hope this works for you.

Hugs to you!! I know how painful and frustrating recurrent pd and m can be.

My dd is 7 months old and I too have recurrent plugged ducts and mastitis.

Once I got a dbl stroller and didn't use my ergo as much I was able to do ok for about a month. I just got it again after a long international flight.

your post reminded me to take lecithan again thanks
