I saw something on CNN not too long ago about how we 'lucked out' last year and they're now gearing up for 'the worst flu season ever' with pandemic levels, blah, blah, blah. It was last month, so they could get a good, solid 5 mos of scare tactics to get people to run out to get the shot. Sick and disgusting, IMO.

Well, the vax mfrs got total indemnity last year out of the hoopla - it was such a coup they're pushing again this year to see if they can get the one thing they didn't get last year: government-ordered standing orders at ERs to flu vax everything that moves as soon as it walks in the door.

That's a scary thought!! I'd hesitate to even go to an ER for a medical emergency if that was implemented!!! I certainly hope they'd be offering the flu vax to all patients that walk through the door, not forcing it on them!!

It's the same thing every year - nice sales tactic. They'll scream pandemic for thirty years and be wrong every time just so they can say 'I told you so' when chance makes them correct on a single occasion.

I don't understand the whole flu vax crap anyway! I'm 21 years old and have only gotten the flu vax twice (once while pg and once because I was working as a CNA and would get docked hours if I refused the vax) and I got the flu both times after getting the dang vax!
