Well here's some rambling from me ....

First, I was perusing our due date list sticky today just for fun & I was reminded that between Christmas Eve & Christmas day alone, there are 17 of us due! Not to mention the many more due around those days...... I wonder how many of us are going to deliver ON Christmas Day?? And we all have to make a pact to check in, even on Christmas day so that those of us laboring don't feel abandoned!

And secondly, this creepy thing happened to me today! I clicked on one of the birth videos I have saved on my computer's bookmarks list (a wonderful video of an mdc mama birthing). I noticed that there were links next to the video of people that had visited & recommended her video (including a link to mdc). So I clicked on one of them just for fun & a message board in Czech popped up. I can't read Czech but there were a bunch of birth videos posted so I started watching them. They were great & fine & I was enjoying myself (& the mdc mama's video was also posted there).

Then.... I scrolled down to watch a few more....... and I came across one that wasn't a woman laboring but was a pregnant woman just sitting there sensuously rubbing her big belly. And that was it. And I thought "well that's kind of weird". I scrolled down a bit more & the NEXT video was of a pregnant woman doing a strip tease!! And suddenly I was all "OMG! Am I on some weird pregnancy fetish site??" And then, because I am stupid, I clicked on one more link, that said something about pregnancy in the address, & immediately a graphic porn site popped up.

So I squealed & closed everything as fast as I could & was all grossed out. And then for the next few hours I just felt so DIRTY!

I was all "Ewwww, I sat there with my toddler innocently watching birth videos on some CZECH pregnancy/birth fetish PORN SITE!!"

YUckO!

So yeah, that was fun.

Oh yeah, the other thing I was going to say is that there are mamas due in the second half of June & still no June ddc! I'd be so frustrated to not have a forum for chatting in! It seems like the ddcs are getting put up later & later.

Well, let's see. DD's fever is back (it was 103.5 when my mom took it at 11- she had dd because I was doing homework) and at 11:30 she gave her tylenol. I haven't checked her temp again, I'm giving the tylenol a couple of hours to kick in. She's not acting sick at all, though, which is better than the other night when she was so lethargic and acting like she felt miserable. Oh, and DH is home from work tonight sick. He's got stomach cramps and a stomach ache. This is the third time he's been sick in the past two weeks. So it's off to the doctor for him in the morning as well.
I was sick all day, but it was my fault for drinking milk (I've suddenly become lactose intolerant). I'm just hoping that I don't get sick as well. We need one healthy person in the family!

Oh, and Aubrey, I am over here

@ the pregnancy fetish site. I would have been so freaked out as well!

Oh- I think I peed myself laughing over this...my teenagers and I just discovered the wild and WACKY world of pregnancy porn- I didn't believe them at first!

We also unfortunately came across these adults who like to dress up as babies, wear and intentionally soil big old diapers, (then be changed!) and be nursed and stuff- I guess that it is called 'infantilism' or something? I didn't think it was real either until my daughter showed it to me- I ran away screaming! uke (My teenagers LOVE to gross me out!

Dennie, if your DD never has any other symptoms, gets better and breaks with a rash a day or two after the fever clears, she may have roseola. My DD had it a few months back - she was fine as long as she didn't have the uber-high fever and the rash she had never seemed to bother her.

I finished a pair of fall/winter longies for DD. They are just natural color so I guess I need to think what color to go with. I was thinking blue or brown. I am so so sick of pink. I also made her this horse...

They will discuss the fetal echo i had done and tell me what's next for us. They can't ever let me have ALL good news! Even though the fetal echo was ok, they then said the baby's belly was kinda small. Ummm, ok.

OMG I'm glad I didn't get that Czech site!

That's a cool crocheted horse! I can't crochet to save my life as far as I know, though. I'm a knitter.

My dh just emailed me to tell me he has a meeting, so I have to reschedule the kids swimming lessons and he wants me to reschedule our meet & greet with Homefirst tomorrow.

: I hate it when he does this.

And I found out my co-op stuff won't be here in time for dd's bday. I ordered her a bunch of organic candies so I am sad that I don't get to give them to the kids.

I've been working on a sleep sack, but I'm a bit stuck on the sleeves...the rest went together so easily, but I can't get my brain to wrap around the increase for the sleeves. Think you could help me?

If I ever get that finished, then I can get started on a soaker or an afghan. I intended to have all three done before Thanksgiving, but that's not very likely at this point....

PS....have you ever inserted a zipper into crochet work? This pattern uses a a zipper, but I'm very intimidated. I'm thinking about making a button flap and button holes instead.

: I just got a TON of wool fabric given to me, so I'm trying to figure out how to use it to back my mama cloth. I *HATE* PUL, but I have such a heavy flow that I can't just sue plain old cotton for mama cloth. But I want to throw away all of my mama cloth with PUL and just use cotton/wool. I just don't know how.

SheBear, nope I never did a zipper, but if I did I would just use needle and thread, I don't think it would be too hard. maybe...

Hey, if it doesnt work out just take the zipper off and add your buttons! And yep, I will help in any way I can! You know how to increase?
