I will be making all my own newborn fitteds, but I can buy covers!!

What did you use and love in the newborn period? What would you NOT get?

I am open to all- wool, pul, fleece.

I had some NB bummis sww last time, and they did not work, the velcro rubbed on that new tender tummy.

Preggo mamas, whats in your cover stash?

I already have some small wool soakers I snagged off the tp. I HAD to, they were a great deal! :

I've only diapered one newborn (K) and with her I used just small ProRaps. Completely boring, but they worked

For this time around... I have no clue what I'm going to do. I still have some good ol' ProRaps, but now for wool I have two nb TootSweet covers (they look divine)... and I'm not sure what else to use!!!

I have nb and small kiwi pies in my stash, xs fuz easys, a small patchwork pixie wrap, a "Southands" nb/sm merino soaker, a small angelwraps cashmere/wool side snap cover, and.... I can't think of what else. But the xs fuz easys are the smallest and cutest. If my babe does end up coming early and is quite small, I plan on pinning my oversized OV wipes on him and covering up with the xs fuz easys until he grows into his preemie/newborn cuddlebuns diapers.

We did the boring covers the first 3 rounds, #4 is due in september and I long since got rid of the boring things. Newborn wool is TOO scrumpcious to resist! I've been grabbing covers, shorts and pants whenever I see a bargain, or just something too yummy to resist.
