Perhaps he doesn't know how to respond to such an e-mail. Can you call him instead? Sit down and talk? What made you decide to send the e-mail and is he aware of the issues you have as a couple?<br><br>

Why did you send him that email? Is there a major problem that you both know about?<br><br>
I don't think I would have been able to respond to an email like that either.

I am sorry he didn't answer you but maybe he felt this was a bit impersonal and didn't want to discuss this via email. Thank you for your responses. i realize my 1at poat was disjointed. I was feeling pretty upset when I wrote it. Dh and I are under a lot of stress and we haven't been doing that well but we talked last night and I have a lot of hope for the future.<img alt="" class="inlineimg" src="http://www.mothering.com/discussions/images/smilies/redface.gif" style="border:0px solid;" title="Embarrassment">
