Lillyanne Isabella was born Wednesday night, December 3, at 8:08 pm. She weighed in at 7 pounds 3 ounces and was 21 inches long. The birth went as well as possible, but was far from what I had planned or wanted. I went in for labwork for blood pressure on Wednesday morning. My blood pressure was high, along with a few other things. The doctor came and looked at me and did some Iridology and something with my tongue, checked my reflexes, swelling, etc and said I needed to be delivered. So they sent me straight to the hospital to be induced. My labor was very quick. I had pitocin and was magnesium sulfate. Lilly was born vaginally with no epidural or pain meds. They took me off the magnesium late last night. My bp is still a little bit of trouble, but is okay. I'll update with pics and more next week.

Congratulations!! I hope your body is back to normal very soon!
Congratulations!

I blinked hard when I saw my daughter's name there--not a lot of people spell it with the double L, then I opened and you used the double N too, but yours is a Lilly-anne? Or does the e make the 'ə' sound, so it's like my Lillyanna? (then is the a in -anne like a in apple or a in father?)
