I could really use some help. I am lost on what natural liquid or cream foundation makeup is *good*? I dont see reviews online when I look them up. I want to have a nice medium coverage when I do my makeup and go out. I dont want real light coverage or real heavy. I care about what I use on my skin so natural is a must. I looked at ewg skin deep report but I am still lost in a sea of different options for liquid/cream foundations. If anyone has some recommendations I would love to hear em! I have professional foundation brushes for applying and blending so liquid or cream are best. I dont like just using powder; not enough coverage for my taste. thanks so much!

ETA: I listed a few brands I am looking at in post #3

I don't know anything about NATURAL liquid foundations, but since you haven't had any recommendations I thought I would mention this. I wear mineral makeup & love it. I previously wore MAry Kay. I've heard you can put on mineral makeup "wet" but don't know any details. This would give you better coverage. maybe that is something you could look into.

I'm so glad you asked this! I really want to know too. Sorry I don't have an answer!

I did try some mineral makeup from Larenim (as well as a couple other natural brands - samplers). It seems nice but I just don't care for how it looks on me. I also prefer liquid.

I hope someone out there has tried these!

Sorry, I may not be much help. I also use mineral makeup. I currently use Bare Essentials but I am considering Everyday minerals. You can use it wet to if you prefer this method.

Physicians Formula has a new organic line I found at Walmart. I have not tried their foundation. I currently am using a tinted spf 30 sunscreen/moisturizer that is great and covers pretty good. If it was not for my bad skin I could probably get away with just wearing that. Oh, it is by Juicy Organics and I bought at Ulta.

Good luck!

I am also considering all of those brands as they were the only liquids listed as low-risk on the database...

How bout' we each try a different one and then report back??

Well I tried Dr. Hauschka's foundation and so far it is okay. It looks real nice and fresh at first but after an hour or two I look very shiny. And by the end of day it looks yucky and the color isnt very even. I have normal skin, with a little T-zone oil once in awhile, mainly hormonal. So now I am going to try Jane Iredale next....Hopefully within the next week. Going to bid on ebay. Wish me luck. I will report back.

Anyone up for trying Larenium or Gabriel zuzu foundation? *or have tried them?

I'm currently using Gabriel, and I like it so far. I could probably use a bit more coverage, but it lasts well and stays consistent all day.

I bought a mineral makeup from Sheer Naturals and my skin is too dry to handle it as a powder, so I make my own liquid with the mineral makeup and emu oil. I just squirt a small amount of emu oil into my palm and rub minerals into it until it's the consistency that I like. I can make it really sheer, or not so sheer depending on my needs at that time. I imagine you could mix it with your regular moisturizer or any carrier oil. Emu oil is really nice for dry skin though. It gives me a slightly "dewy" look that could be easily tamed down by not moisturizing prior to application.

I love Dr. Hauschka - but not the foundation unfortunatly. I'd love to hear some results on these ~ i always go back to liquid foundation and it's been years since i've found a good one and never a "natural" one.

have you visited makeupalley.com? a few of these brands are reviewed there.
