I don't know if they are technically indie still, but they started out that way and are a bit more obscure than the mainstream.<br><br>

i don't listen to indie music, but i recognized mason jennings. my best friend is obsessed with him! i will be keeping an eye on this thread though. i'm always up for expanding my musical tastes.

all the indie rock i listen to is considered classic now, which i think is hysterical because i still see myself as such a newbie. i have to think hard because i don't listen to it much anymore, so i'm sure i'm going to miss a bunch of stuff.<br><br>

i could go on, but it would probably be easier to have a look on amazon. most of the music snobs i ever knew looooooooooove making lists and there are plenty on there.
