on breastfeeding. I'm putting together a reading list for my classes and I want to make sure I get the best ones on it.<br><br>
Also, list some of your least favourite books (they don't have to be JUST about breastfeeding, like Babywise isn't bad just for breastfeeding lol). I'm also going to make a list of books to avoid. <img alt="" class="inlineimg" src="http://www.mothering.com/discussions/images/smilies/smile.gif" style="border:0px solid;" title="smile"><br><br>
Thanks!

This book is incredible, and I can't recommend it enough. The Nursing Mother's Guide by Kathleen Huggins.<br><br><a href="http://www.amazon.com/gp/redirect.html?ie=UTF8&linkCode=ur2&camp=1789&creative=9325&tag=motheringhud-20&location=http%3A%2F%2Fwww.amazon.com%2Fgp%2Fproduct%2F1558321055%2F102-7716867-2578564%3Fv%3Dglance%26n%3D283155" target="_blank">http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/155...lance&n=283155</a>

Dr. Spock (the latest edition) has terrible breastfeeding advice. It says BF past 6 months is of no benefit to the child. <img alt="" class="inlineimg" src="http://www.mothering.com/discussions/images/smilies/headscratch.gif" style="border:0px solid;" title="headscratch">

I cannot say enough for The Breastfeeding Book (Sears). I read it cover-to-cover like 6 times when I was pg the first time so that I could practically quote it. I call it my breastfeeding bible.

I like Nursing Mother's Companion (my only complaint is that I don't think the index is as good as it could be). I also love the pics in the Sheila Kitzinger breastfeeding book.
