Last night Genevieve had on an SOS with doubler and a wool Sugarpeas. We've never had any problems with this combination before however, today she completely was soaked and so was her bed. And, the color from the cover bled on to the diaper AND her sheets! Isn't that like impossible? It's never beld before. She was wearing some blue jammies but the jammies have been washed before. Anyway, I could care less about the dye on the diaper...but I don't know how to get the dye out of my sheets.

HELP!

Yes generally dye used to dye wool is not colorfast on other fabrics at all, so you should be fine just washing it out. And urine can sometimes make wool bleed more than it normally would specially if the diaper is completely drenched.

And everyone pee's differently everynight so what has always worked before may not tonight because she may have held it more before bed, may have drank more before bed (or in bed) and the output can vary. Now the same combo may work just fine tonight with no problems!
good luck!

I havn't had any problems with dye staining anything permanently ...without the right chemical balance to set the dye it just seems to wash right out.

I just dyed my first batch of fabric the other day ... and with all the steps involved in getting the dye to set and stay colourfast I just can't see how stains can happen at all (and I say this totally confused as to how blueberries can stain things SO badly when it took me a pail full of salt and another full of soda ash to get the hemp to be a nice bright green).
