Is anybody familiar with this dehydrator? I read about it in a MaryJane's Farm book, she swears by it. It seems to be pretty affordable compared to many alternatives. I like that it's super simple. BUT, the thing that's bugging me is, it's made of plywood. Won't the glues in plywood offgas??? Especially in a warm, damp environment like a dehydrator??? I imagine it is sealed in some way, but are the sealants safe?

Then again, any other brand is made primarily of plastic, which offgasses; Teflex sheets are teflon (yuck). So, is any dehydrator "perfect"?
