Have you seen the one, with the mom talking about how "spoiled" they are wtih the gardener (kid pulling plants up by roots), chauffer (kid pulling wagon), etc...?

Well, then she gets to "And of course, the luxury of a cushy diaper."

This morning, it was playing on the tv as I was changing my dd's diaper and she got to that line and I started laughing, patted my dd's fleecy bottom and said "Not as cushy as yours!"

I'm sorry, I recently used Luvs for a trip and let me tell you, they are NOT as cushy as a diaper made from Windpro fleece :LOL

The rest of the commercial went to talk about stretchiness and "cloth-like tabs", which made me giggle more.

Cloth-like ... right

Dh and I were just commenting on that commercial last night ... cloth like tabs, and to me the kicker, cashmere like feel of the outside. Umm ... if you'd really like cloth tabs and a cashmere cover, sposies ain't gonna do it for you! :LOL Yea, that commercial is right up there with Pamper's "almost like a washcloth" wipes scented like lavendar. You know, they realize that the real thing is the best and are just spinning their wheels trying to figure out how to make their product sound as good ... :

Bwahahaha! I know what you mean. I see that ad all the time and just roll my eyes :LOL

How about the one where the jingle is "I'm much too busy....blah blah blah" and it shows the little girl running around outside and the catch is that they are so absorbant that you can let your toddler run around for hours without having to change the diaper so often...

ummm excuse me for a minute while I :puke

The "washcloth-like" things irk me. I'm sorry, I don't need disposible washcloths. I mean, you still have to wet it - how hard is it to take a real washcloth and rub a little soap in it? Let me tell you, not hard at all - I did it just yesterday, and one washcloth held through two dirty boys, lol!

My mother uses those disposible Palmolive dishcloths - I got a free sample and decided to use them in a pinch one day - OMG! Nasty! Too much detergent!

Granted, I'm a paper towel, wet wipe user, and I even think society is getting WAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAY too into all these disposible things! But getting a little off topic - it happens with me

And let's be honest - if Pampers were cashmere soft, someone would be wearing a sweater made out of them, lol!
