He's staring at the tv right now, completely transfixed by the thought of children obsessing over cartoon characters. I think this is the first time he's ever realized that kids pay attention to these things. His exact words:

"What am I watching here? I can't believe that two-year-olds actually know the words to these songs!"

"And the parents know the words too!"

The next concern he had was wondering if he would be one of those parents' in two years, singing along with the children's character of the month.

OOOOH so Happy DS is tv free. A relative actually gave Kai a wiggles CD and he likes to put in different types of music to listen to and dance. Well he put it in one day and said "mommy i dont like listening to that "
Wonder how many kids the wiggles get too.

My neices love the wiggles. That's the Australian quartet of men, right? I'm dreading the TV battles that are sure to ensue at my home...DH still watches cartoons and our nephews always have both tvs on at grandmas house. I, however, can't stand the constant noise of silly cartoons. I guess I've got a few years before I have to fight those battles, though, since DS won't be able to work the remote on his own for a while. He won't, right?
