Ok so I don't know how I can be lonely because I have my 2.5 yo and 6 week old but it sure feels lonely. Especially right now, dh gets up and plays with dd1 for a couple hours then he leaves to go work with my dad for extra income until its time for him to go to his ft job, hes there til 11 at night, then hes home and awake for an hour or less and goes to bed to start all over. It stinks, I feel like I am a single parent a lot of the time and to be honest I am missing the social interaction.

I hear ya. I've got a 3 yo and a 5 month old. Some days are really long. The winter was hard for us, I really didn't want to take a nb out in cold weather, so lots of times ds sat by the window looking out at the other kids & moms wishing to go out. I missed the interaction with the moms on the block. Most have only 1 child, a toddler & it's much easier to get out, if only in front of the house to get some fresh air. I haven't even gone to my LLL meetings in months, I used to have some interaction there.

Do you have any other family, family w/ kids near you to visit? For me the times when my sister came over w/ her kids during the winter helped a lot.
I have a 9 week old and we have also been in a really lonely phase. He has had a bunch of medical problems and I had the flu and he seems to cry a bunch so it has been hard to do the social things I normally do with other moms & my 3 year old. The only interaction we seem to get is taking my 7 year old to the bus stop and watching Little League games.

I think it will get better as the weather warms up and our newborns get a bit bigger.

Hugs to you both -
