They sell digital ones that beep out our local grocery store and at Wal-Mart if you shop there. They are usually in the kitchen aisles.

My son's neurologist uses this really cool timer (He has Asperger's and loses track of time) that is like a clock face and as the time passes the red disappears.

I will try to hunt down a link for you.
